The NIFA National Integrated Water Quality Program has identified eight topical themes for research, education, and extension projects. These themes are listed below. Each theme has an associated team of experts that will address their respective theme on the national scale, helping to focus the efforts of NIFA on water quality issues.
The 'National Themes' area of this website will gradually introduce content demonstrating how these themes are being addressed on the national scale by NIFA-funded programs and their partners.
