The Outstanding Integrated Water Resources Team Award

This award is to be given to a specific team of professionals that have effectively dealt with a water resources issue on a regional or national level. This is not a career award, but rather an award for a specific program that produced outstanding outcomes and impact for the nation's water resources. For the purposes of this award, integration means having strong and linked components of at least two of the following three areas: research, extension and/or education. The awardee(s) will receive a plaque at the general session on the first day of the annual national water resources meeting. The awardee(s) will also receive appropriate national recognition that will be provided by CSL. CSL members individually or as team members are not eligible for this award.

This award is for a team of professionals that have successfully developed and carried out an integrated project which has produced outcomes of national significance. To be eligible for this award, a team must have made a significant contribution to water resources by integrating research, education and extension employing integrated activities AND, because of their efforts, significant outcomes must have been produced to make a difference to society. The integrated effort can have been conducted at the local or regional level; however, the outcomes must have significant national impact.

Nominations are solicited for this award. The nomination will consist of a letter from a water resources professional. The nomination letter should contain the following information:
(1) a brief explanation of the integrated team project,
(2) details of how the project was successfully integrated,
(3) details of successful outcomes and impacts attributed to the project activities,
(4) a list of the clientele or stakeholders positively impacted by the integrated team effort, and
(5) three letJune 30, 2008
