1/10 The University of Connecticut Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR) is pleased to announce that the results of our statewide forest fragmentation analysis are now up on the CLEAR website.

1/10 Using Planning and Evaluation Tools to Target Extension Outputs & Outcomes: The New England Private Well Symposium Example was recently published in the June edition of the Journal of Extension. The article is the result of a collaboration between URI and UNH.

9/09 Protecting Water Resources and Managing Stormwater: A Birdseye View for New Hampshire Communities is Natural Resources Outreach Coalition's latest collaboration with the UNH Stormwater Center.  This free guide encourages communities to think beyond BMPs when managing stormwater for water resource protection. It's creation was funded by an EPA grant to the UNH SC.

9/09 A joint UConn/URI  proposal to provide Geospatial Technology Training to the USDA Water Quality  Network has been selected for funding! This means trainings at each of the next 4 USDA Water Quality Conferences, 4 regional trainings, some webinars, and some content additions for the Map@syst eXtension site.

6/09 Did you attend the Draft Rhode Island Stormwater Design and Installation Standards Manual Informational Session? A public workshop was held to present the draft manual. A copy of the slide show is available online.

4/09 The latest episode of the CSREES Partners video series - Fluid Planet - features a team from three universities—Rutgers, Cornell and Virginia Tech touting the benefits of rain gardens for businesses and backyards to filter pollutants from storm water runoff.
