Conservation Effects

The Conservation Effects Assessment Projects (CEAP) quantify the environmental benefits of conservation practices used by private landowners participating in selected U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) conservation programs. The program began in 2003 as a multi-agency effort; lead USDA agencies include NRCS, ARS, NIFA, FSA, and National Agricultural Statistics Service. The project consists of three components:
