About this Website

The Regional Website seeks to improve communication and coordination within the NIFA/Land Grant University network and to its national and regional partners. The goal of the website it to communicate and connect the expertise, programs and tools within the region and present our programs in a coherent, organized framework to focus area participants, stakeholder, decision makers and partners. The site is designed for scientists, instructors and extension educators to learn about successful water quality improvement programs across the Region by browsing through content of the regional focus areas and success stories. We also provide links to our partners, regional events, online resources, and publications. The site does not directly support extensive information on local water quality programs and issues. Rather, it is intended to direct extension clientele and local decision makers to online resources developed by their state and local experts.

This website, developed, hosted, and maintained at the University of Rhode Island (URI) by Kelly Addy and Aimee Mandeville, is a partnership between the URI Cooperative Extension Water Quality Program and the URI Environmental Data Center. All content on this website is developed with the assistance of the Regional Planning Committee.
